Love saves the day!

We’re thrilled to be back on the dance floor – this time on Valentine’s Day, also the 56th anniversary of the original hi-fi dance party, the Loft.

As ever, we’ll be ensconced in a beautiful old ballroom, surrounded by our stunning four-point Klipschorn sound system, exploring diverse, dance-forward, joy-inducing music that brings together probably the loveliest party community in the city. Energy is also essential for any good party, so there’ll be a vegan grazing table, a bar, and spots to chill out, socialise, and make new friends in.

Tickets go fast, as we’re an intimate party (and like it that way), so get in quick to join the festivities.

Social expectations

To help us preserve our unique party environment, please:

  • Treat your fellow guests, staff, and the equipment with love, care, and respect. Unsafe and anti-social behaviour isn’t tolerated. If you feel uncomfortable about anything, let the venue staff know.

  • Keep phones and loud conversations off the dance floor. We want to keep it as a sacred space to physically connect with the music, yourself, and other dancers.

  • Try and put aside time for the entire party, as it’s best experienced as a collective journey from start to finish. To this end, there are no pass-outs, and doors close at midnight.

Nobody should be denied the right to dance, so we keep our ticket prices affordable – but if price is a barrier to entry, contact us.
